  <description>Greetings Glocal Citizens!
This week on the podcast it's our first family affair. In a one year later flashback, I had the pleasure of meeting Elizabeth "Liz" Rollins-Moskowitz, mother of my guest from Episode 37 (https://glocalcitizens.fireside.fm/37), Salim Rollins. Liz describes herself as "an 82-year old trying to grow up and figure life out." With roots in Westchester County, New York, Liz traveled the world first when her parents moved to Switzerland as a teenager and later as a model and wife of modern day Renaissance Man, acclaimed photographer, musician, writer and film director, Gordon Parks. In her modeling career, Liz appeared in Life Magazine, Vogue Magazine, Ebony Magazine, and other well-known publications of the times.
Liz currently lives in Mill Valley, California where she continues to paint and is happily grandmothering, book clubbing, and meditating.

<description>Hello again, Glocal Citizens! This week I catch up with Ghanaian-American entrepreneur, Leslie Bentil of Gutta Soles from his current home base in Switzerland (hence, we sound a little different this week over the phone line). GUTTA SOLES was established in 2012 in Accra, Ghana. The company's initial intention was to design a shoe that was durable enough to handle surface conditions in Africa. It is has since expanded into a social enterprise with eyes on transforming the welfare of families and delivering innovation to communities using simple indigenous tools.
