  <description>Greetings Glocal Citizens!
We've been together a whole year already..Hurray!!
I thank you for tuning in with me and my guests week after week for business and lifestyle insights around the world. This year, our glocal travels have taken us from the US to Europe, across Africa and as far as New Zealand. The world is our oyster and we're opening it a little wider with each and every guest we meet.
This week my guest is Wellington Baiden, CEO of Portal Forest Estates. Wellington has over 20 years of experience in the wood products sector in Ghana. He is an internationally recognized innovator in sustainable agro-forestry and has family and business ties in the Western and Central Regions of Ghana which reach back many generations. In his work at Portal, the aim is to create a green vortex for the training of leaders amongst local communities, private sector operatives and general public at large enabling a concerted drive towards exponential growth in climate change mitigation interventions. Prior to returning to Ghana in 2000, Wellington studied law at the University of East Anglia and worked in the finance industry in the United Kingdom.
