While selecting models as the Bookings Editor for ESSENCE, Nana ’s father became ill back in Ghana. The support of the local community helped him get back on his feet and Nana was inspired to ensure communities across the continent received health care. In the past 14 years, AHN has impacted more than 20,000 people with health fairs focused on awareness of noncommunicable diseases (NCDs), chronic diseases and general health in Ghana and Nigeria. She has also become a serial entreprenuer with her new start-up www.fourthphasebox.co which will launch in December 2020.
