Tina Mbachu Obodozie, is a bilingual, business and sustainable development expert specializing in business design, social impact assessment, and strategy development. As a social impact specialist and international development professional she is focused on all things Africa and the intersection of gender equality and economic empowerment. She is passionate about social entrepreneurship that fosters the creative economy on the continent, and also builds opportunities for job creation. Her cross-sector career includes technology, natural resources, and the creative economy, where she has led teams, formed partnerships, and built development programs and incubators supporting market-creating innovations. Tina has worked with organizations like DMZ-a Toronto-based tech incubator and global startup ecosystem as well as Plan Canada, securing millions in funding and driving social and economic change. A recognized thought leader and ecosystem builder, she was named The Peak Emerging Leader 2024 in the Entrepreneurship category. She is also the owner of A Few Good Things, an online store with the aim to highlight talented African designers whose work has sustainable and ethical production practices at its core. As a complement to A Few Good Things is her complimentary enterprise Atelier MBOKA, which is focused on building an inclusive value chain for fashion accessories.  Tina was born in Cameroon where she spent her childhood before moving to Canada. She is also co-located in Nigeria.
