Ramon Perez is an AI technology executive and US military veteran. He founded the Digital Democracy Project, an accountability system and mobile voting platform that connects voters directly with their legislative representatives to address systemic problems in the electoral system that result in hyper-partisanship and widespread voter alienation. To achieve better outcomes, he believes technology can be used as a catalyst for building a more modern, inclusive system of government giving greater control directly to voters. Alongside his work as a democracy reformer, he leads AI Solutions at Elder Research where his career has spanned roles as Director of Financial Analytics and Director of UK Operations. His other complementary UK-based roles included heading up Publicis Sapient AI Labs, DataminingLab UK, Emergent Alliance, Smart Contracts, began served on the board of R2 Factory--a Rolls-Royce initiative, a membership community for organisations seeking opportunities to address the challenges of digital transformation in their businesses.
