Femi Longe is a serial social entrepreneur, innovation consultant, service designer, learning scientist and startup coach. He is very passionate about helping individuals and organizations be their best self and do their best job to enable a better world. He currently works on the Financial Freedom team at the Human Rights Foundation. In his
role as Global Bitcoin Lead, he drives strategy and execution of the HRF’s Bitcoin Development Fund, a fund dedicated to growing adoption of Bitcoin and adjacent freedom technologies especially in countries under repressive regimes.

Previously, Femi was the CEO of QALA Africa (acquired by Btrust), an engineering training programme that helped African software developers transition to a career in Bitcoin and Lightning development, which was acquired by Btrust and transformed into Btrust Builders.

Prior to joining the Bitcoin ecosystem, Femi co-founded and remains a non-executive Director at Co-Creation Hub (CcHub), Africa’s leading social innovation centre and tech hub. For nine years, he served as CcHub’s Director of Innovation, leading corporate innovation and social innovation engagements that brought clients (multinational corporations, SMEs, non-profits and multilateral agencies) into deep engagement with the African startup ecosystem to create new value and tackle interesting problems to improve quality of life for Africans.

Earlier in his career, he gained experience at the UK's foremost social innovation centre, The Young Foundation, where he established the UpRising Leadership Programme. He also contributed to international youth leadership organisation AIESEC International as the Director overseeing strategy and operations across Africa. Femi holds an MSc in EdTech/Learning Science from Centre de Recherches Interdisciplinaires (CRI) at Universite Paris Cite and is part of AIESEC International's Global Supervisory Board.

Married with three young daughters, Femi is an avid traveler and has visited or lived in 56
countries and counting.
