Elvina Quaison is the founder of SESA a personal development organisation. She has also worked with ACCORD a well as supported diaspora and government representatives as Diaspora Engagement Specialist for the EU Global Diaspora Facility (EUDiF), a pilot project funded by the European Commission and implemented by the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD).
Elvina has worked with social organisations and private companies organising large scale conferences to intimate networking events, carrying out research studies and sourcing business partners and funding among other things for organisations and individual clients.
Other areas of her work include facilitating workshops, trainings and one to ones as well as presenting at events from intimate talks to large international conferences.
Elvina has worked in the international development field, with a focus on African diaspora, for over 20 years with experience spanning diaspora engagement in humanitarianism, development, private and public sector as well as within civil society. She specialises in diaspora and private sector investment with a focus on the utilisation of diaspora investment to enhance economic growth in countries of heritage and residence. In 2025, he became CEO of Shabaka, a diaspora-led organisation focused on the role of diaspora and migrants in humanitarian preparedness, response, and recovery.
